From 1984-1989, as a public relations and communications executive working with leading Manhattan-based agencies, Ms. Holt helped develop and implement public relations and marketing strategies and provided editorial and copywriting services to a range of US corporations and organizations. Clients included 3M Corporation, American Home Products, American Management Association, Bacardi Rum, British Telecom, Canon, Data General, Equitable Life Assurance, James River Corporation, the Japanese Government, Long Island University, L'Oreal, Monsanto, New York State Bar Assoc., Procter & Gamble, Puerto Rico Tourism, Singer Corporation and many more.

From 1989-1998, as principal of Holt & Associates, Ms. Holt specialized in B2B marketing, supplying strategic marketing, public relations and marketing communications services, primarily to professional services and consulting firms. Ms Holt developed client identity and brand strategy, including all marketing and sales collateral. She helped design and implement marketing initiatives, including advertising, direct marketing and PR programs, resulting in press coverage that included BusinessWeek, Fast Company, Forbes, Fortune, Investors' Business Daily, CNN, The New York Times, Today Show and The Wall Street Journal.

1998 to 2000--Ms Holt was a principal of Mckenzie/Holt Creative Services, a full-service corporate communications and creative services firm that developed branding initiatives, corporate identity and integrated marketing communications. Clients included Accelerating 1:1, a spin-off of Peppers + Rogers, Arbinet-thexchange, Argus Investors' Council, Barton Executive Search, Bywater Consulting, Chase, Citibank, CI Publishing, Impact Planning Group, MOHR Development, Mosley Corporation, Oak Investment Partners, Oxford Biosciences, Pitney Bowes and Wright Investors' Service.

Concise Marketing & Communications helps clients to identify target segments, build relevant offers and communicate value with a full range of marketing, communications and creative support to build brands and ensure superior sales and marketing. Both a business and fiction writer, Ms. Holt is the author/coauthor of four books. She was born, educated and lived in Yorkshire and London, England, before emigrating to the United States. She holds a joint honors degree in English and Linguistics from York University, England.
